Hello everyone!
I'm recently obsessed with MobEntertainent's "Poppy Playtime" and can't wait for the new chapter to come out this week! So I felt the need to do a bit more fanart for a bunch of characters I haven't really shown much love for, the Smiling Critters in contrast to their dark counterparts, the Nightmare Critters, which I already made art of. Finally it's time to show the positive and happy Friend Group in their whole glory!
I had a lot of fun drawing the majority of these characters with my favourites being DogDay, Craftycorn and CatNap! While I'm not the biggest fan of all of them, I was glad to draw them all together for this groupshot and am quite content with the results^^ I guess my least favourite might be Picky Piggy, but I also surprised myself with how good Bubby Bubbaphant turned out in my style! Of course, I made the designs a little more detailed than they were originally depicted in (for example giving them real looking feet as opposed to their simplistic designs in the franchise) just to give them a small taste of my own style, but otherwise I stayed as closely to the original as possible. Which one do you like most and why? Who's your favourite Smiling Critter and did I capture them well enough in your opinion? I'd love to hear your thoughts^^
