It's a Latvian fairy-tale shot in the Czech Republic (Czechoslovakia, then), in a chateau called Lednice, now part of UNESCO world heritage. A Czech actor is playing the devil and a Latvian actor is playing the boy with the flute. The flute has magic powers: whoever hears it has to dance like crazy.
@@martaevabetakova483 You know I've always wondered: were the children inside the rock-cave thing dancing as well during the flute scene, as they could technically hear it too ? Bet this would be an interesting question to ponder.
@@agris8859 if i remember correctly its that whoever was eather a bad person or the kid "sprīdītim" had to think of the person they whanted to donce but idk watched it only once
Whoever wrote this comment must have no imagination and ability to see how colourful world, fairy tales and mythology is without using drugs. Pathetic.

@@user-cq7st6od6o Czechoslovak-Latvian, to be precise :-) I'm Czech and this castle is not far from where I live :-)
